Change your rear tires, the car you save may be your own.

been seeing/hearing quite a few owners who are finding their s2k's jittery in the rain, even with decent treads and at conservative speeds. I wonder if these people have underlying alignment issues or differential issues ? I've driven mine through huge rain storms at highway speeds with moderate tire treads and never found it to be unpredictable at any time.

I have a brand new set of Falken ZE-912 rear's to go on my S in the spring. I, like most of the peeps on this site, found out while driving in a rainy day late Aug that my car felt like it was on ice, literally ! When I got to work, I just happen to walk around the car and looked at the rear tires, I was truly shocked to see the condition of the rear tires, almost completely bald. Keep in mind that these tires were in great shape just 3 months prior? Anyways, I'll be putting on the new tires first thing in the spring, thankfully the fronts still have a lot of tread life left. Remember, peeps, safety is #1. I'll be keeping a close eye now going forward.

Wish I would have seen this thread about 3 weeks ago before I fishtailed into a curb and destroyed my entire RR suspension...things suck in the rain, man...

I was under the impression that searching and bumping an old thread is better then starting a new one, am I wrong?
Other then that if you have nothing useful to say, why bother to post? just stay out of it if you have nothing to add that's beneficial to the forums,
some of us are new to the s2000 scene and the rwd scene, so keep that in mind next time you make a thoughtless comment.

How is that NOT an idiotic question? That is a common sense answer...

Damn.. 3 weeks too late
Changing your balding tires is common maintenance and a common sense item.
*edit*
Whoops, appears to have been a misquote, did not see that post at the bottom of first page, sorry hondafrvr!
