I have seen them too and there is no way they can make a perfect match regardless of what you believe. Thats a fact. It may look similar but its not. Its, its own design and the proportions statement that I made is correct.. If you dont see that than thats ok. They can copy till their hearts blue but that still doesnt make the copy or product an exact match, let alone matching with quality and finish. Ohh, one last thing do Cwings and or Seibon offer warranties? They are purchase at your own risk with no refunds right???

I agree with you on one statement though. I wouldnt pay $5500 for a CF top regardless of brand. FRP baby..
but ou would pay 5g's for an intake right,

I'm just messin with ya, don't go crazy now.

hmmm so do you use the factory rear glass with the C-Wings top? If so then maybe there is a way to make it so that the defroster actually will work.

i don't think you would use the factory glass, but rather have to call a glass or plex-glass place to make one.

Different cars, different priorities..

One other thing. Whats wrong with the OEM top guys? I think this would be a much better/wiser purchase than a "style" hardtop, no? I personally would much rather have an OEM hardtop than any "style" top..
oem hardtops are going for $1800-2000 right now and it's extremely hard to find a black or gpw one for that price. i went for the style just because i want a ht now and prefer CF to match the rest of the car and can careless if someone knows its not a REAL JDM part

No one in UTAH will know except those on this forum

Companies hard work and research have been stolen and re-manufactured since the beginning of time. Do you not buy Walgreens brand band-aids or Cough Syrup because you feel bad for the original inventor? Im sure you only buy kleenex brand tissue as well dont you? The "I only buy authentic cause i feel bad for them getting ripped off" argument is lame, because most of you only apply that logic to your car.
Ok, you do realize that drug companies take out patents and once the patent is expired that's when anyone can come up with a generic brand, right? Same thing can be sad about almost ever other product. If the company takes the time and takes out a design patent it can't be knocked off until that patent is expired. Now with car parts, SEMA and others are trying to work toward that at the moment there is nothing that protects people from ripping off a design.
