[QUOTE=tunerjetta29,Oct 14 2005, 12:18 PM] Seibon and C-wings did the same thing, they bought a Mugen top from king motorsports and used them to make a mold.

They used the real mugen top to make the mold, so it cant be very far off. (i actually looked at the real mugen top when Seibon got it from King)

Companies hard work and research have been stolen and re-manufactured since the beginning of time. Do you not buy Walgreens brand band-aids or Cough Syrup because you feel bad for the original inventor? Im sure you only buy kleenex brand tissue as well dont you? The "I only buy authentic cause i feel bad for them getting ripped off" argument is lame, because most of you only apply that logic to your car.

I personally am going to get a C-wings, put a glass rear window in and paint it! If the real mugen owners think im a "poser" i dont really care. Atleast I didnt fork over an extra 4G's for a name.
Do you know how much it will cost to put a glass window in???and where???

JsAP1: I have seen them both as well. I wont say they are perfect matches (even all the mugen HT's wont be "perfect"), but they certainly arent very far off. The warranty issue doesnt really matter to me, i inspect everything before I purchase it, If it isnt up to par for me I wont buy it. Since im going to paint it the "yellowing" factor doesnt really matter to me.

WindchaserS2K: Actually i dont know the cost. I have a guy that sponsors my race team and does all the windsheild and hardtop glass in our SM race cars who is going to do it for me for free. Ill ask him when i get the window installed what the normal cost would be though.

www.nsptuner.com has it for $1950 but it does not come with the rear glass.

There is also www.streetconcept.com They told me that they only have 1 left. Whoever is fast gets it since I won't be that person. Their price is also $1950 and it comes with the rear glass and OEM installation hardware. They also guarantee perfect fitment.

WOW, since it was the only one left for that cheap, I should have sold this information for money
