Default Ceramic coated exhaust tips

I saw a black porsche 911 with black ceramic exhaust tips, and was wondering has anyone done this on an S2K.

Is it to expensive, or something we just don't do like lambo doors, my flame suit is at the cleaners so be nice.

I like the look of it with the car being all blacked out.

I think he is implying that it is some sort of black ceramic coating. Kind of like how anodize can be in a multitude of colors, not familiar with ceramic coating but, I would assume is cannot be that expensive since you can get headers for dirt cheap with the ceramic coating. Couldnt be more than...100? for coating tips...

Seems to me the major cost there would only be the setup time for the shop, again (not familiar) with this process. If its anything like the black chrome that porche has on some wheels GO FOR IT!!! haha

I coated the inside of my invidia tips with JetHot ceramic coating to insulate the tip fron the bumper because the heatwrapping of the rest of the catback leads to a VERY hot output. Cost of the whole catback and tips was about $145.

I have pics in this thread
