Default cat vs test pipe

i have the invidia exhaust and just installed the berk test pipe.. No cel's but I am wondering a couple of things. 1) Is the "canned" sound that I get in VTEC eventually go away (i only get it when I am pushing hard) and 2) did I lose torque from removing the backpressure i had from the cat?

1. Not sure what you mean by "canned" sound. Try to get a sound clip or something.

2. Our car only needs a little back pressure. The invidia + TP will not make it to free flowing. So no you are fine

They sometimes tend to change sound at about the 1,000 mile mark.

i highly doubt u lost any TQ from a loss of "back pressure." exhaust velocity is what u would worry about if u are concerned about TQ.
when i had an invidia and the megan testpipe i did not notice the "canned" sound. do yo mean ricey? if so, mine was not ricey at all. it was loud, throaty, deep below vtec, and it screamed like a banshee at vtec.

You'll gain 2-3 hp,your stock cat,was already a high flow.
As a bonus, you will get more noise(ricey???),more bad smell, and dirtier exhaust tips...
