Good grief people. Get a grip will ya? Cats hate the smell of citrus. It is acidic though, so don't use it directly on the car. Soak some material in the stuff and put it on the car with a protective barrier of some sort. Some lemon extract, or orange extract will deter them. Yes. Kitty marked your car as his territory. He will keep re-marking it until he decides to stake another claim somewhere else. I found that the car cover I had actually attracted cats. They slept on it and also stood on the ground and used it as a scratching post. I gave up on that and the car now sits w/o the cover and they don't bother it.

I do hope I'm missing the joke when it comes to the 'Winchester .22 rifle' type comments.
I'm curious if the same rule applies to the dog that occasionally craps in my yard. In fact, the owner is usually walking him, maybe the rule should apply to him as well.
Dogs...cats, it doesn't matter, comments about animal cruelty in jest or not are very low-class.
