Cars been in shop 5 times!!!
Alright heres the deal i have had my S2000 for 7 months now it has 6000 miles on it. It has been in the shop 5 times since i had it. First time for the speaker crackling the next for the driver window not going down.
Then i have had my car in for the transmission grinding from 1st to 2nd gear. After that was fixed third gear would pop out in neutral all by itself. After that was fixed now my they say my throw out barring is messed up and there is a interal problem in first gear, because my first gear whines likes its in reverse.
Whats the deal did i get a lemon or is the S2000 have a lot of bugs?

I've got over 11,000 miles and I haven't had any problems that you've described. Well...I did run into the 1-2 grind, but I think it may have just been driver error, since it hasn't happened in such a long time.

it's an isolated issue....i would check the lemon laws but i don't see your car filling the requirements to be considered a lemon. just tough luck i guess or the dealer might be doing shoddy work since a lot of has to do with the transmission

6 months, 4000 miles.
Mine has the 1-2 grind and tsb54 whine -- both of which the dealer says are just "normal" and do not need to be fixed (the whine has grown so loud my stereo can no longer hide it).
Add to that assorted rattles, stereo and window problems and I have lost any faith I once had that Honda is capable of engineering and building a reliable high performance car.
Where did the Honda of the late 80's go?
