Comin back from the Sports Car Club Meet (http://www.t66mkiv.com/SCCM_IV/sports_car_...club_meet_v.htm) in my friends 01 prelude, on the 210 interchange, a car infront of us ran over a piece of a tire. the tire then shot straight back at us, broke the headlight, cracked the hood (small), and then bounced off our windshield.

needless to say, my friends pretty upset

 

That sucks so much! I recently experienced a debris-on-the-freeway incident, seems like it's happening a lot lately. Lots of following distance people!

 

My wife had a rock kicked up by a truck hit her windshield (minivan) right in front of her. It made about 1-1/2" to 2" broken spot. I was very glad it didn't make it through the windshield. Imagine that hitting the more vertical S2000 windshield. (In this case, it probably would have gone *over* the S2000.)

Too bad we don't have the roads all to ourselves...

Those minivans are evil with the road debris. I have had every car I own/ owned pickup some kind of glass damage from those boxy loads.
