Default Carbon hoods

I am thinking of adding a carbon fiber hood.

Has anyone thought of the crash worthiness of this mod.. While I can see a lot of advantages, I would hate to have a piece of carbon come through the windshield if hit from the front.

Thanks for your thoughts.

The stock hood is certainly no safety device , it's an engine cover. Carbon fiber is very crash worthy , it's used as roll cages in top fuel dragsters and makes up a good majority of formula one racecars!

header, not headers...that's the thing to point out to other Honda owners ever since it was mentioned in Turbo or SCC...can't remember which one

I'll stick with headers, although, to be technically correct, I probably should say Mugen Exhaust Manifold. BTW Accord98, have you graduated from high school yet?
