Ive recently purchased an Amuse Style C/F Hood, and need to know whether it is ok to use regular Car Wax (Zymol Wax) on the hood?

yea, if it's clear-coated, it's okay to wax it.
you actually "should" wax it.

Im pretty sure its the same Hood as yours. Will give a good waxing tonight then!

paul, did you clear-coat the hood?
this seibon hood is bitchy to clear-coat, i guess the epoxy resin of the hood is not cured always upon
the shipping, there's a big chance that you'll get fish eyes...

this was discussed in the wash & wax forum and the conclusion was the same- that the cf hood should be waxed (or synthetic finished) to protect it just as you would protect the rest of the car.
