Default carbon fiber hoods?
Looking to purchase a carbon fiber hood for my S2K, anyone with any recommendations...? The good, bad, or ugly?

you should say what your budget is, if any, because of the vast qualities of the hoods makes them all different pricing.

i just got a Seibon OEM style CF hood for $538 shipped so ill let you know on fitment and quality once it arrives next week!

What do you want from the hood? Looks? or weight savings?

Most carbon hoods will weigh more than the stock aluminum hood. So either you are going to have to settle with just having the look, or spending the dough for a dry carbon hood. I personally like the j's hood, or if you want to do some custom fab under the hood, the cwest time attack one is shweeeet.

Seibon & VIS weighs more than stock... so bleh. I bought my Seibon MG style hood purely for looks. Btw, got it for $480 OTD (pick-up).

Buddy Club is the cheapest I have found that weighs 5lbs less than stock. The weave is not as good as ASM or Mugen.

And the Mugen and ASM are lighter.
