Car wouldnt start....
Sunday was fairly nice so i decided to take the car out for a spin. I open the garage door and flip the keys. Press the start button. Nothing. Notice immediately that the dash lights are really really dim. ACK the battery is dead! Unfortunately, I havent driven the car for about 2 months (vacation, moving to VA etc...) and I think my dad (yes, i let my dad drive my car when i'm away to satisfy his post-mid-life crisis) left the alarm on. Guess what!!! my battery is dead. I had to push start the car down the hill and consequently went for a good 1 hr fun drive. I've never had a car die like that on me b4 and im attributing this to the tiny s2k battery. Has this happened to anybody else? Is this bad for the battery for it to be cycled to empty like this?

Yes, it is bad for any battery to be drained down that low, and I doubt that your one hour drive fully recharged it.
At the very least the battery should be put on a trickle charger and recharged fully; you should also really get yourself a good trickle charger/battery maintainer if you're going to be leaving the car undriven that long again...

He's right on everything. You should get a trickle charger. Then you will never have that problem again.
Oh, what's that remark about midlife crises? Some of us S2000 owners aren't kids anymore. I drive an S2000 because it's a really good car.
