Car won't start sometimes
For this past week, I have not drove the car, since I been driving my other car to work. Couple of days ago, when I start it, it wouldn't start till the second time, then today I started it and it was struggle to start, but it did. The past 2 days has been around 40 degrees. Has this happen to anyone else. I have a 2000.

Does your starter spin at full speed or does it seem to turn the motor over slowly (dead battery or ...)? When the car is running does it run rough (water in gas or ...)?

Not to worry. This is normal when it's cold. Notice all the other post are from people who live where its hot. I consistently have this problem in colder weather, as do a lot of people. Let me guess. The first time you start her up she idles real rough then dies. Second time it's ok?
Standard occurrence with this car. I think it has something to do with some sort of auxillary fan that kicks in right after start that is supposed to help the cat. converter work properly since it isn't heated up. You'll notice when you first start her she's ok, then the fan kicks in and the idle drops and then usually stalls.
Again, no big deal. I've taken it to multiple dealerships and they have tested everything. Even replaced a few things. No change, or only for a short time. I know a mechanic at a dealer in Denver who only races his on weekends, so his sits for really long periods of time and he too has the same problem.
Just one of those idiosynchracies we learn to live with.
