Default Car smells like a dead fish...

Sometimes when i park the car in the garage...the car has a terrible...fishy smell to it. I heard it could have been the catalytic converter but i don't know. I missed a gear earlier and it kinda grinded for like 2 seconds...yes bad i know, and i immediately put in the clutch and what not...but after...the car smelled terrible!!!! i guess that was from the rubbing? but its like a constant smell not just for 1 minute...then it goes away eventually...any ideas?

Clutch Pads wearing out.

I used to ride the clutch when I go in my garage.
I was trying to park the S2000 in the garage and my truck was in the driveway so there was some tight maneuvering uphill.

Burning clutch can smell fishy. I've particularly smelled this when people go for a WOT shift and end up slipping the clutch too much. I'm not sure if this happens also when the clutch is just wearing out, but it seems possible.

Coolant maybe? I can't decide if coolant smells like syrup or fish.

Burning clutch = fishy smell, but it will go away in couple days. But if it still happens constanly then it could be your a/c(cabin) filter. Dirty a/c (cabin)filter does smell like fish also. If that not is than i guess you better check whoever a$$ was sitting on the passenger side
