Thumbs up Car locks up

Hey guys i drive my car to school everyday during the week(monday-friday) but on the weekends i usually have to take more than one person places so i use my passat. For the past two weekends i havn't driven the car at all on the weekends and on monday morning when i try to back the car out of the garage the car locks up. What i mean by this is that ill give it gas, enough to get going, and ill let out the clutch way after the point to where it would grab and get going and the car won't move. It feels like the E-brake is up but it is all the way done. What i did was just keep giving it more gas until it "unlocks". It makes a noise like snaping something right when i get out of the lock, but then runs perfect and everything untill the next monday. Has this ever happened to anyone or anyone know what is going on?

My car does that after I wash it or it sat in the rain. The rotors rust alittle and the brake calipers stick it seems. No big deal. Is the car getting wet?

I'm with superchrgds2k on this one. It seems like it may be your pads sticking to the rotors. It happens to me when I wash the car and immediately pull it into the garage. Since it's cooler in your garage the water doesn' evaporate as fast so it gives time for the pads to "rust" to the rotors.

If you wash the car and then don't drive it there is water left between the pads and rotors that turns to a nice rust spot and siezes the rotor to the pad, especially if you wait a few days or longer before you drive the car again. Happens to me too since my S only gets driven about 4 days a week. Now when I wash it I go for a quick drive to dry the brakes out before putting it in the garage.

as honda manual states..... when parking your car for a few days... leave the car in reverse gear and dont use the hand brake. also leave the windows down a little bit.
