Default Car Insurance

Looking to see what insurance people have and like. Tell me pros and cons of your insurance because I need to switch from Progressive.

I don't have much of a choice when it comes to car insurance, because my dad is with State Farm, and I get almost all the discounts because of him.

I originally went to State Farm to insure my motorcycles (they are the cheapest by far), but have been very happy with them as a whole.

I think I pay around $97/month (including $100 deductible for comprehensive) for the s2k but I have a lot discounts.

I've been with State Farm since I learned to drive. I pay about $900/year for both the S2000 and my wife's '03 Accord, with each car costing about the same (~$450/year). Of course, it helps that I'm 42, married and live in Ohio.....

I had heard once that State Farm is one of the few that will not raise your rates automatically if you get the occasional ticket. I can testify to that.

If you qualify (military/military relatives), USAA can't be beat for price and service. Check your eligibility at: https://www.usaa.com/inet/gas_corp/CpMemberEligibility. I've been with them since 1961.
