The August Car and Driver has a roadster comparo, S2000 was the best but we already know that.

You could have read S2000 Driver's scan of the article had you been a bit quicker. Too bad it's illegal, down with the government!

The Z4 3.0L will run in the high 13's to low 14's depending on driver.

Automobile Magazine also reviewed the S2000 (I think against the 350Z vert). Unfortunately, it was sealed in sthe store and I couldn't read it. Does anyone have scans or a summary?

I just read the Automobile review yesterday. Also very favorable to the S2000. Best track car, lightest, best brakes, etc. "Lithe, buzzy, busy and quick, the S2000 was the race car of the foursome." They reported the fastest 0-60 time (5.6 sec),
best 1/4 mile time (14.3 sec), best cornering g's (.98 L, 1.01 R)
with the S2000. They chose the Boxster as their overall favorite
although they didn't really say why.

I have posted them elsewhere.

Here are the links:

You can't expect s2ki to host a pic that infringes on copyright laws and then post them on another site.

Well, it seems like a good month to hit the magazine kiosks.

The R&T article was head-on S2000 vs. 350Z. Not a bad review. Strange coincidence that C&D and Automobile also ran articles on the S2000.

Even car and driver can't get a zero to sixty right. In the Car Digest specs their 0-60 is almost 20% higher? Got to wonder?

VTEC clutch dumps, SMU...

I think C&D and possibly R&T try to get the best launch possible with clutch dumping. I would suspect Car Digest doesn't do that.
