very rare to see ppl still buying canadian s2k. most of us here just buy US imports now, because you'll be hitting 60k after-tax here with zero options.

I personally stick with oem and oem front lip, because its not too expensive and look great.

Yeah but about a month and a half ago, the dollars were the same. Now, the Looney is at about 1.20-1.25 to the US buck.

Sounds like you should invest in an aftermarket alarm.
...and possibly selecting safer (though probably much more inconvenient) parking spots.

its kinda futile, really.

the only way to prevent damage to the car is to not drive it, which defeats the purpose.

look on the bright side: it's repairable.

maybe the paint will be hard to match, but thats the body shop/insurance company's problem, not yours.

That really sucks man. I'm sorry. Sounds like you should invest in an aftermarket alarm.
That wouldn't do any good. An alarm doesn't put a force field around your car.

hire a couple illegal aliens to watch over your car when you go somewhere. I hear they work really cheap.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't the alarm go off if someone hit it?

Assuming he had a 2-way pager alarm, since he was parked on the street and it was short term I'm sure he was close enough so he would have gotten the notification and possibly could have run outside to see who it was and get a tag number or description for the cops...
