Car Covers, does brand matter?

Quality of car covers can vary greatly with price, just don't skimp out and buy a cheapo junky looking cover that offers little protection.
I have a custom fit cover from carcoverplanet.com that I'm happy with. I got the "Coverbond 4" material for it's thickness and protection from falling tree branches and such, but they have a variety of different fabrics to choose from. The fit was perfect, and for 145 bucks it was well worth it.

Did your cover come with a storage bag? I was actually looking at that cover for the same reason you got it. How does it hold up during heavy rain?

First off, great name. Despite J.W. Black Label being blended and on the lower end in the scotch world, it is still one of my favorites.

So far this cover still looks as good as new, but I've only had it for a few months. Based on other covers i have owned i expect it to hold up for years.

anybody tried using a carcoon?
they use two fans to take moisture out and keep the inside dry whilst circulating fresh air as well
it stops brake calipers seizing, rubbers perishing, leather cracking and organic materials from thriving etc........
a lot of lads use them in the winter over here in ireland for there ae86 corolla GT coupes and mark II escorts
