They're all good cars, and you really should make your decision based on test drives rather than the opinions of the highly biased people on this forum.
Having said that, tough call, but I vote Boxster S: http://forums.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.p...628#post2312628.

i love this car!!! i get so excited every time i see it but for some reason i am unsure as to whether i will be happy with it, i have read all this bs about it not having enough torque or its unstable...but to me it seems to be the best roadster performance wise for the money

Find someone in your local area and ask a owner for a ride. ( try posting in your regional communities forum ) All your hesitation about torque will most likely be gone after you experience the ride for yourself. You will be even more exited after you feel and hear the S2000 firsthand!!

Ok you gotta go drive the Z3 and Z4,Miata,Boxster S and whatever else you are considering and then decide for yourself!!!
Make sure you drive a used S with about 15,000 miles on it because those engines are FULLY broken in and you will learn what an S will really do!!
If you can live with the fact that the S needs to stay home for rainy and snowy days PERIOD! and after a test drive I do not see how you could possibly not choose this car over the others HANDS DOWN !
If you do get an S then consider choosing stiffer front anti-sway bar to tame the snap oversteer ! Better safe than bent fenders!!!

I had a Jackson Racing supercharged '97 Miata M-Edition (the nicest model in the last year of pop-up headlight Miatas) before my S. I will tell you the Miata was great for the money. The SC gave it what it needed; about 40 extra hp and lots more low-end torque without sacrificing durability or reliability. I also had some mild suspension tweaks (sway bars). It was a fun car.
The S, on the other hand, is a serious sports car in a way the Miata never was. Don't get me wrong, I loved the Miata. I think you would not go wrong if you get one. But I think the S is just a superior car all around.
I don't have much to say about your other choices. The Boxster S is nice, but more expensive. The non-S Boxster is ordinary compared to our Hondas.
As others have, I suggest you drive a few cars to help you decide. Good luck.
