Can't shift into 1st, 2nd, or reverse?
Leaving work yesterday, I noticed that it was extremely difficult to get my car into reverse, as well as first and second gear. Seemed odd, as it happened all of a sudden....I've had the normal S2000 difficulty on the 1-2 shift from time to time when the engine was cold, but this was much different. Pumping the clutch a few times seemed to help a little bit, but not much. Shifting between or into first or second usually resulted in grinding gears.
For the last few days I've also noticed that for the first maybe half of the clutch pedal travel, it feels as if there is no resistance to me pressing the pedal. I'm thinking maybe the clutch just isn't disengaging. Took the car into the dealership last night, but I'm wondering if you guys can give me any idea what to expect.
I was searching the forums last night after I got home, and saw some questions in similar threads about whether the car would go into gear with the engine off, unfortunately I didn't test this before bringing it in.
BTW, I had the clutch replaced due to the clutch deceleration buzz tsb about 7 months ago.

Did you check your clutch fluid level? Sounds like low fluid level or bad syncros. I'm sure the dealer will have an answer.

Didn't check the fluid levels, unfortunately I had to rush over to the dealer to get it dropped off before they closed. Well, as much as you can rush while in 2nd gear the whole way.
What kind of damage might I have done forcing it into gear if ti is an issue of air in the lines?

^^ your sig
I know he won't be back...but he's been around this forum for as long as I have. Wish we had the old search engine back...I'd like to find some of the knock-down drag-out arguments the two of us had on M3s waaay back when.

Per forum rules, please do not bump ancient threads. Post a new thread. Reference the old one with a link if need be.
Also, this question would be best for the Under the Hood section, so please post there instead.
Thank you.
