I've got the same problem...... but sometimes mine works... sometimes it doesn't....

Lately it won't work at all (except one time yesterday when it locked and unlocked OK.

Over the past 9-12 months it has gotten worse.

I have installed new keyless batteries
Reprogrammed the Keyless
Pulled the fuses for the keyless

Since my car battery is 4.5 years old, could it be that it just doens't have enough volts/amps whatever to get the actuators to work? (the car still starts OK)

If I hooked up the RSX via jumper cables and had the RSX running, if I tired the keyless then, would that be a fair test to see if it was the battery?

I had to have my lock assembly on the driver's door replaced because of this. Managed to get the dealer to pick up the cost of the parts even though the car is out of warranty. Seems to me it was problematic with both the key and fob...

I doubt it's the battery since you say you can start the car. Dig a little deeper. Sit inside the car and listen as you push the lock or unlock button. The keyless control module should click when you push the button. If it doesn't, then it's the remote not communicating with the controller. This could mean a bad transmitter or bad receiver. If it does click and you don't hear the solenoid click in the door, then it's the door solenoid.

Thanks xviper..... I'll give it a try this weekend...

Just strange that sometimes it works... sometimes it doesn't...

This weekend it work all day Sunday, but only once Saturday.... Friday wouldn't work at all..

Can't unlock any door with it, or trunk, or set the alarm when it is not in the mood to work...

When you had your problem, were you able to open any doors or trunk or set the alarm with your keyless?

And, did it work sometimes, but not all the time?
