Default Can you remove the H emblem on the steering wheel

Has anyone done this? Is it possible without affecting safety like the airbag expells prematurely? If it is unsafe then I'll leave it alone.

I guess you can.. since Rics2k sells the steering wheel emblem..

btw, did you guys notice that it's very easy to dent the emblem?
I used to tap the emblem (to horn) lightly with my knuckle everytime I see other s2k passing.. now it looks ugly with dents..

04's emblem is different from pre-04 right? I wonder if ricks2k sells 04's....

I love that fact that we drive a kick-ass Honda. Maybe you would be better off with BMW badges on your S2000.

I think I'm the only person that has successfully done it to an S2000. If you search, you can probably find the thread I made with detailed instructions and pics. Keep in mind that the button can't be removed from the airbag without ruining it. Also, the vinyl is very soft around the horn button, so don't make any marks on it-- Honda retail price for the airbag is about $550!

You can't do it by just polishing it. The "H" is stamped into the metal, and it has to be grinded/filed off.

Thanx, bro. All that stuff is custom made. I did all of the interior plastic. The passenger side vent is in now, and the only parts left to do are the radio door & trim, steering column cover, kneepads, and a new 2004 center console. It should be done in about a month, I'm already on it:
