I have decided that I like the windshield tape on...too bad I removed it 4 months ago!

Anyone know if the windshield tape can be ordered/bought from the dealer?

Thanks!

The next question is, how difficult would it be to put it back on?

TAllen,

Man! $80 total eh? I guess it's staying off.

Maybe I'll use electrical tape. J/k.

Yea, this came up before when someone wanted to put the tape back on. I can only imagine the nightmarish diffiiculty that it would be to put on. That is, unless you have the dealer do it.

Learn to love it, or pay someone to put it on. It may even be less of a hassle to just primer and paint the frame. I don't, but it's a thought...

I'm a big fan of the windsheild tape, makes the car look a little sleeker since the color remains more horizontal than vertical.

$80 doesn't seem like too much to make the car pleasing to your eye again... that said I would pay the extra money to get a pro to do it.

So clear something up for me...is the black tape optional, and if I remove it, will there be color under it?
