Can a Used Perfectly Working Comptech SC Be Sold Used?
What do you think guys and gals?
The kit would include everything needed, including fuel pump, regulator, etc... (maybe a few bolts would have to be replaced)... even with exchange of the modified crank damper exchange (I send the tapped damper and wait for the stock one to be mailed back to me)...
Can an SC kit be resold? I ask this because it is not simply a one-piece bolt-on item that is being resold to a new owner.
You ask why?!? (Bieg is gonna love this )
Here's a recent event:
A current Ford Focus ZX3 incident (my winter/bad weather car): The car has 5000 miles on it with only H&R coilovers and Eibach swaybars... the front left ball-joint broke that connects the lower arm to the knuckle... causing the arm to fall into the drive shaft... $1800 worth of damage NOT COVERED by warraty... on a car that cost me $14000. No one else out of 5000 Focus owners has had this problem. For now on, I want items covered by warranty to be covered by warranty... so off with the aftermarket items.
Point 1: If there is 0 (zero) evidence of a SC install, I am likely to have a warranty! I want a warranty! I cannot afford crazy out -of-pocket expenses like the Focus!
Point 2: If I want a faster/more powerful car, I will buy another car to supplement the S2000 (like a 2003/2004 Viper or Z06)
Point 3: I need a little extra cash for some Cisco routers/Switches to pass my CCNP exams ... So I would take Cisco trades + cash for the SC
Feedback Please!

woo,
First, sorry about your bad incident.
Few people have already done selling used S/C.
Shaner, I don't think you will have any problem selling your perfectly working used supercharger considering many of the board members know you well and met you in person.
You will probably have too many people contacting you to take it off from your hand.
It is just going to inconvenience you quite a bit to take it down and packaged to be sold.
I knod my head with point 1 and point 2, sometimes I feel that way quite a bit.
Maybe next time, I will just do that.
Good luck shaner!

I have 2 Cisco routers sitting here on my desk.... I'm willing to trade them + cash for your supercharger. Its a Cisco 2600 w/ 2 T1 WICs, and a 1600 w/ T1 WIC. I might be able to get another 2600 or 2 if you're interested. Please let me know, I was gonna get a supercharger later, but if you are willing to accept cash + routers, I'll do it now.
O yeah.. how many miles is on your SC?

HeNeSSey,
The SC has 5000 miles on it... I installed it at 4500 miles and am in the mid-9000's now...
From the positive feedback, it looks like a do-able thing. I will just have to detail a packing list and compare it to Comptech's packing list.
It also comes with a 100% Shaner-made DavePK-designed "Ghoostbooster"... and a Defi Heads-up boost guage/turbo timer...
