Can Stock S2k 06 radio read CD-RW?

Default Can Stock S2k 06 radio read CD-RW?

I have a bunch of blank CD-RW and I was wondering if the stock radio on my 06 can read CD-RW when i burn songs? Thanks for your help.

my 03 can, so an 06 should be able to as well

My 07 reads CD-R cds no problem, but haven't tried the CD-RWs yet.

My 04 OEM radio definitely handled CD-R's never tried an RW but can't try it since I yanked it to put in an Alpine. I'm pretty sure that none of the OEM radios handle MP3s though.

I used cdR and it works fine, i hope CD-RW will be the same..thanks for all your inputs. I'll try it out tonight.

I use CD-R and CD-RW in my stock '00 radio..

Not always...CDRW is a lot more difficult to read. Many stereos that can read CDR cannot read CDRW.

Glad to know ours can though
