I have brand new OEM oil filter which i bought 3 years ago for my first s2k.I have since sold it and now i have another one with only 6k miles and want to do a oil change myself with syntetic oil.Can i still use the filter?Is it still good?Does the time affect the quality?Thanks in advance?

As long as the rubber seal looks like its in good shape, you should be ok.

 

I don't think theres an expiration date
