Tossing around some random ideas. I was just curious if anyone knew about a swap from the 5 lug BMW E36 M3 to the 5 Lug s2k? Not concerned about offset etc right now, just if the bolt patterns allow it?

Search didnt turn up any info for me.

Thanks.

I don't think so. There aren't many wheels that fit the s2k due to the high offsets needed. Also, I think BMW's run a 5x120 instead of our 5x114.3 (but I'm not positive on this one).

I'm a total sucker for the Hammann PG-2, it's been my favorite wheel for years now. The thought of a set of these on an s2k is really like combining the best of all worlds for me

Thanks for the info though, if anyone is positive please let me know. But it would not surprize me at all if they do not fit.

Why do you just get some replicas?

munckee is right, the bimmer is 5x120 = no fit. Plus any offset you would find for a bmw application will be too low for the S (FYI, I traded a 328 for the S2000 so I'm not talking out my a$$). An old set of wheels I had for the bmw were the dual bolt pattern 5x120/114.3 so I thought I would slap them on and see how they looked but the lip stook out about a 1/2 inch from the fender on the rear. I if recall correctly they are 18x8 with a 38mm offset. Hope this helps and sorry your dream wheels won't fit (I love the pg2's as well).

C'est La Vie. It was really just a pipe dream anyway. The PG-2's were practically born for the M3 so I guess it was never meant to be.

Thanks for the help gents

Even if the bolt pattern was the same (which it isn't) offsets for BMW wheels tend to be extremely low... like ET18, ET30, etc.

At the best, they'd fit but destroy your wheel bearings over time... at worst they just squash your fenders
