First of all, if you really are interested in buying this car, you need to go see it! How can somebody "vouch" for a car? I mean, lets just say "big ticket item...".

Part of the joy, is feeling it out, touching it, inspecting it, etc... Good Luck.

If you would like we can arrange an inspection of this car. Just have prentice contact me to get things rolling. He's probably only 45 minutes from me.

As for trusting me... Well I sure hope that a "few" members would be willing to vouch for me.

Thats the best thing is to have someone whos close inspect it. But a round trip airline ticket aint much. Plan on driving it home but it you dont like it just fly home.

Unless you nkow cars and what to look for then there really isnt much point in looking at it yourself any ways.

And since you are on here asking the question of how not to get screwed that seems like it may be the case.

i bought mine from someone 30 hours away, and i mailed him the cashiers check a week before i flew out to get the car. i guess i just trust people too much. most people with S2000's though arent your run of the mill ricers either that are out to screw everyone as well. just my 2cents.
