Default calling suspension masters

my top lock nut came loose on my passenger rear tein RA. i went to tighten the nut on top, i had to hold it down with a wrench on a precut flat spot just below the damping setting knob and turn the top lock nut. problem was i turned the main shaft, and now instead of having 16 levels of adjustment on that coilover i have about 25. that isn't normal i am guessing. my question is did i do any major damage to it or not, the car rides FINE though, but i am sure turning the main shaft shouldn't be done.
i tried calling tein but they are closed til the 3rd. and this is my daily driver so i had to tighten it myself.
thanks all any help is appreciated, and happy new year.

from what i remember, i think adjustable dampers can usually always turn more than the number they say they can be turned (ie, there are more than 16 levels of adjustment) however, if they are turned softer beyond the number (ie 18 clicks from full stiff) the damper is then damaged.

turn to full stiff and count backwards from there.

yeah, i figured, but there are considerably more clicks on this particular one. the other rear only has like 18 then stops, unless i just got too scared to keep turning, but it felt like it wouldn't turn anymore.
thanks.
