Default Calling all T1R 70mm Sparrow Owners

I am in the market to get a dual exhaust and I want to do it right the first time.
I've been researching and comparing.

The T1R 70mm Sparrow is at the top of my list as I have heard good things about hp gain and quality. I also like that it is a 70mm exhaust that is a plus for me. I just wanted some information on how loud the exhaust is and how much drone it produces at highway speeds and driving around town.

I have owned an Invidia exhaust before on my 06 350Z and was please with the quality. The loudness of the exhaust didn't bother me, but it did drone a bit, but could be avoided by using different rpm bands. The price of the Invidia is nice, to say the least. I like the look of the burnt Ti tips.

Is the T1R as loud as the Invidia?
Does it drone as much?

Any information would be appreciated

*Edit - I do plan on running a test pipe with which ever exhaust I get. I know the T1R comes with a 70mm test pipe. Is the Invidia test pipe 70mm as well?

well i have the t1r sparrow 70 and absolutely love it, although i have not used any other types.

the sound is loud, but not overbearing, i've heard its not louder than the invidia but don't quote me on that lol

the drone is very minimal, maybe noticable around the 4k mark, but grea, i have had aftermarket greddy and tanabe exhausts on previous cars, and the t1r is supreme in quality and performance.

A+ T1R 70 sparrow, you won't regret it.

That's what I want to hear.
Thanks for the review.
I don't mind a loud exhaust. I just don't want an exhaust that is going to drone terribly all the time.

Any others that would like to chime in?

The T1R 70 sparrow is tops on my list also as my next mod, and have done some research too. ive heard the 63mm in person, it is really sweet sounding with a nice tone and pretty quiet. From all accounts that I have gathered the 70 has the same nice tone but louder, but not as loud or harsh as the Invidia. This is important to me, the Invidia is just to harsh for my DD, but "louder" is OK. Id like to hear some more opinions too!

The t1r 70r sparrow is great. There is a drone but it's VERY minimal. And it's nowhere as loud as an invidia but it is a little loud. It can be very quiet when you want it to be though...

I also thought the 70mm would be over-kill but apparently not, like GOS2k007 heard, I heard the same, still gains over the 63mm!

like i stated early about how much i love this exhaust, it is pefectly fine to use with N/A applications, but it just can yield even more performance with FI
