California MSRP - HELP!

Check out what one dealer emailed me with:
"Presently,we have a Black S2000 available in the showroom for sale;unfortunately, there's NO special finance rate for this car! We currently selling it @ $4,500 OVER the MSRP...but I'll give it to you for $1,500 OVER.I have a black on black. "
and I replied, "I hope you don't think you're doing me a favor ... you do realize you're still ripping me off $1500. I think I'll take my money elsewhere."
Gotta keep the guns up.

If you can wait a little while, you might want to do what I did. I bought my car on Sept. 30th for MSRP. The dealership wanted to sell it before the end of the quarter.
When I was looking around, the only dealer that gave a decent deal was Penske out in Ontario. At the time, they were offering the S2K for MSRP, but you had to pay $400 for a special "wax" job. Norm Reeves and everyone else had the car for MSRP, but you had to pay a shitload for the "forced" options.
