CAI and factory warranty
I'm seriously considering purchasing a Cold air intake, but would like to keep the factory warranty intact in the S2k.
I'm assuming that such a modification would void the warranty..
Has anyone had "warranty covered work" denied by the dealer, because they had a CAI?
TIA

I was just on the www.injen.com and on the FAQ page ther's a warranty question whitch they have answered...
Apperently there is some kind of law or something that doesn't allow a dealership to void warranty unless it's in writing...
It says that they can only void what is under the "is not covered" section of your warranty booklet...
They can't just tell you, I think that's great for us cuz when I looked at my warranty booklet the only thing that it says is not warrantied is a bunch of stuff concearning the exhaust...
I'm not too worried and you shouln't be either, but if you are do some more reaserch i guess...
Good luck with your decision
