I bought one of these off ebay the other week for 30 bucks + 20 for shipping. If it works, it's not a bad deal. I wasn't going to use that filter anyways and was going to switch to KN.

Skogshuggarn:
-Where can I see a pic of the BMC filter? maybe I will try one of those.

BTW: the shipment is scheduled to arrived Tuesday or Weds, I will update once I get it.

Short of PRM, is there any intake that doesn't use Aluminum?

The PRM has aluminum pipe, but what I am saying is that all aluminum is not equell. when mills process metals, they are divided and sold according to grade. So, if the metal sucks, it will be cheaper.

the way i look at it is, you can go with a company like Injen who claim all there products are "Dyno Proven Products" and even supply a dyno sheet on there website and in the box of the intake, or you can go with a company like these that cost $50 and list the product application as: "Civic S2000" instead of a Honda S2000, pretty easy choice for me, if you spend all that money on such a nice car, why install some piece of shit, where the company can't even get the make of the car right, into it to save a little cash..............

If you give a rat's ass about horsepower and torqe (torque being most important), then get mithabitshiconda cold air intake (fake name btw) or if you want all the performance you can get from your car, go with an AEM Cold Air Intake (or wait for v2 to come out for s2k) along with a spoon or k&n air filter.

I emailed one of these sellers the other day. He said they were made in Taiwan or Korea or something like that...probably newest edition in a long line of decent copies...Meh...
