my a/c is acting abnormal, when i use the a/c yes it's cold...but then every 30 secs or so....it would change temperature meaning it would stop getting cold and blow just like a regular fan (a little colder) then it goes back to a/c ice cold. i called the local honda dealer they said it might be electrical problems "bring it in" ???

maybe needs freon?

 

It's normal. I believe all s2000's do that ... I have a MY07, and mine does that. I think its to keep performance levels optimal at all times? (Don't quote me on this i dont' know jack shit about this stuff ) I know for sure that AC is completely shut off once you get into your power band (or redline forgot which one it was).

 

LOL, my buddy just bought his S2K last week and mentioned he was concerned. I too have had this with mine, but always believed it was normal and told him the same.

Tell ya one thing. When it is cold, it is COLD!

 

the a/c compressor turns of when you go WOT.. so maybe thats what it is..
