Default Buying a used S2000

I've been lurking around for about a month now and I think I might finally be caving for my own s2000

I might be picking up a used 2005 Silverstone S2000 in the next few days. I'll be trading my 2006 Civic Si for it.

What are some things I should look out for with this particular year/model on the car?

TSB's..
Recalls..
etc...

Thanks in advance!

Really, this has been gone over countless times. Try a search, read the FAQs and see if you have some specific questions.

"Used Car Buying Tips" yielded a lot of results. If you sift through all the "Car Fax" links you will find many threads with tons of useful information

2000-2003 are AP1s. A 2005 won't have AP1 specific problems.

2004-2005 are AP2 and very similar. Look for info on these.

2006-2009 are also AP2 but have VSA and drive by wire.

Check the FAQs and other stickys in S2000 Talk and Under the Hood. I read all of it before buying when I was shopping a couple months ago.

Thanks for all the info!

I'm going to go back to the dealership tomorrow and test drive and inspect the whole thing again.
