Keep us posted as to which car you decide to buy

Is the GPW owner the same one that screwed you over that you mentioned in the Is this S2k worth it thread?
Haha you noticed? Yeah that's the same guy. He ended up texting me the very next day apologizing saying that he was busy and didn't have his phone on him. I'm not going to waste my time with that guy

I wanted a low mileage all stock one. I wanted white 2007 or 2008 but got silver stone metallic with 9,700 miles. I paid a high price and love the car. I just paid $500 to the dealer for new brake fluid, trains fluid and diff fluid and oil change and new battery (old one was original and fine but batteries don't last 8 years reliably IMO)
I love it. Totally would have got the white one if it was in CA. Also I got mine from my neighbors biz partner and it was never listed for sale.

Deal #2 is legitimately one of the best deals anyone has ever seen for an S2000 with those credentials.
Yeah that is a great price for #2 actually. #1 is kinda pricey. These cars will go 180k. My little beater camry is at 175k with regular maintenance. You can wait till winter when the prices will drop too and demand is low.

I just read your post on the other thread. It's unfortunate you didn't get to check the car out. It is still up for grabs at this time. I'm from Maui, but I got a chance to check it out when I was in Kona last month. Seller is an elderly man and seemed legit.

Yeah I was wondering if it was the same. Sucks that he didn't respond to you. The GPW is a pretty good deal. If it was in California, it would have been sold. The Silverstone is also a great deal. Cant go wrong with either car but if I had a choice, I would get the GPW.

If I had seen the car that weekend I flew out I'd have given him a solid answer. I'm probably going to pass on the GPW, I don't want to get stood up again. I'm assuming you're going to go with the silver S in Hilo? That's a sweet deal

I'm sure some lucky guy will soon buy that GPW. I just can't give my money to the seller. The wound is too deep
