How was the fitment on the 06? Did you have to modify the exhaust any to get it to fit on the 06. I know some exhausts like Toda, etc were requiring small modifications to make them fit down the exhaust tunnel under the car.

I've only seen two S2K's in person that had Mugen exhaust and I don't remember if they were AP1's or AP2's. I do know that the Mugen exhaust for an AP1 looks stock, and that's part of the reason that I didn't get it.
That's why I did get it. Cops can't tell the difference.

I also searched a lot before pulling the trigger.
I was looking for a DUAL exhaust w/ a nice tone, that's not that loud, and has no drone.
A lot of people recommended the HKS Hi-power and I'm glad I went with it.
I honestly can't tell the power difference. Even if I did, it would've been minimal to none.
Here are some pics for reference.

Run the HKS exhaust w/ a test pipe, it sounds so amazing! smooth deep yet no drone tone around 6000rpm it gives a same note as a 360/430, that smooth howl but at a much lower volume.

Comptech if you are able to find a used one (there is at least one in the classifieds right now). I switched from a Spugen dual to my Comptech and I could not be happier, I love this thing! Zero drone at any speed, quiet enough to talk on the phone, but get into VTEC and it just sounds mean!
