Default Buying exhaust, need help...

Hey guys... I'm shopping around for exhaust. I'm sure this is one of countless threads on this matter. I'm trying to get a feel for what they all sound like but the one major resource that has that isn't getting me anywhere. Every exhaust that I'm interested in seems to be missing on http://www.s2000library.com/

I'm looking for a deep throaty sound. Don't want a loud drone but when I step on it I want it open up a whole new sound. I've been looking at HKS, of course, see the rumor/facts of the power loss. Which is not a major concern for me. Haven't gotten a real good feel for what it really sounds like. Seen a few clips here and there but they don't do much justice. I was doing research on the forums and came across Tanabe. Sounded pretty good to me. Either way this goes, I want dual exhaust. I DO NOT want single. I want dual, deep, throaty, low drone, exhaust.

Open up guys and tell me whats out there that might fit my needs. Also, is there an explanation why http://www.s2000library.com/ has most of its videos, um, MIA... Cause I really wanna make a smart buy and theres not a lot out there to help my decision.

Fujitsubo -- $800
Mugen AP2 -- $1300
Amuse Dual Titan -- $2200

Those three aren't too loud, all are duals, pick your price point. More titanium, more cost, less weight.

Your best bet is probably to go to a regional get together or event and listen to some in person, you really can't judge well by sound clips. Check in your local forum for upcoming events. Spring is pretty much here, so there should be lot's of stuff coming up. BTW, how close are you to Tennessee?? The upcoming WTD would do nicely!

Oh...and here are the ones I'd consider:

Fujitsobo
Mugen
HKS
Comptech
T1R Sparrow (63mm)

Tanabe Concept G

A little louder then stock at idle and cruising, but when you go WOT it gives out a nice deep sound that isn't crazy loud.

Got to some meets, drives, or track days - you'll get some good ideas like T1R sparrow.

I think a reasonable and budget conscious alternative is to have the factory mufflers replaced with Magnaflows or do a resonatorectomy.

Comptech may be hard to find since they declared bankruptcy...
