To buy or not to buy, that is the question...
Well here is the thing, I have wanted an S2k ever since they came out in 2000 when my boss bought one. Now the time has come that I actually have a stable decent paying job, I have a good amount in my savings account for the rest of my school, and my insurance has dropped alot. But I still have this feeling that if I get one I might regret it. I dont want a brand new one, I am really trying to not go over 19k and get a nice ap1 or something, althought I love the ap2's, I dunno did any of you guys have this feeling before you bought urs? Thanks.

Seems like finance is your main problem here so you need to figure out how much you can afford. How much can you set aside each month for the car payment and insurance w/o changing your current lifestyle too much? You can call your insurance company and get a quote. Then you can find payment calculators online.
Keep in mind once you get the s2000, the MOD bug will hit you quick.
A savings is to save not dip into unless you purposely saved for the s2000.

Yeah I already got an insurance quote, for a 2000 model I would be paying $122 a month full coverage, I also pay $60 a month for my 94 accord, which is my daily driver. I found a few nice ap1's with low mileage for 16k. Total I would be spending around $430 a month if I purchased one at that price, including insurance. I make around $1900 a month and I live at home. So if I got a cheap ap1 nothing would change much. I originally wanted a ap2, but like you said, I dont want to change my lifestyle around too much just for a car. And believe me I will not be touching my savings, thats for school only. The only mods I could see myself doing is adding a oem lip kit, and a nice tint, thats about it. Maybe some wheels down the road too.
Now you just have to factor in any bills you have (ie. cell phone, credit card, girlfriend and etc). Then forget about the car ask yourself, "Can I live with just this much money every month?"
Sounds feasible to me but I don't know how your spending habits are.

I'm assuming $1900 is take home so that leaves you with about $1470/month or $49/day on a 30 day month.
