I'm going to Summit Point Raceway 2 weeks later and my rear tires are getting bal, I still have 6/32 left. Do you think I should replace it before I go to the track? or after?

I heard people said that the condition of my tires right now is perfect for track day because it is like shaved race tires

Some people said you better get new tires before you go to track so you get better traction

What should I do? HELP!!

nope, not really. sure having not a lot of tread flexing will help, but with the S02's, after having them for a while they become HARDER compound because of how they are built.

I'm sure you'll do just fine on the track, but don't expect them to be better at all. If you do plan on getting tires for the track, I'd just say, swap them out with some victoracers or toyo ra1's and drive to the track. they'll last on the street as well, but not for a long period of time.
