Default burnt out gas gauge bulb?

It seems like 2 or 3 lines in my gas gauge are not lighting up. Burnt out bulbs? How do I fix it?

the whole gauge cluster is lit by a panel of led's not a single led for each increment but a back light if you will. what you actually see is a back lit LCD panel that is always on and when you see light that cell or part of the LCD is "off". if you are experiencing trouble with bars that are together then more than likely it is a burnt out LED how ever unlikely that may be it is possible. secondly if you have non-adjacent bars that are not functioning then these are actually cells or parts of the LCD that are frozen.

hopefully you have only a burnt out LED, witch is fixable (but a bitch to do), otherwise you will need a new cluster if you want it fixed.

Hope that helps you out

Post a picture. There's a chance that it's actually perfectly normal.
