How hard is it to remove the front bumper? I bought an S that has a slight gap between the fender and bumper (see side bumper in pic). Just want to take it out and see if I can correct that. The gap (spacing ) is very even from one end to the other.

Also, does the 2006 have an airbag sensor on the passenger side?
Btw, I used to own an 2007 and coming back again![smile.gif](https://www.s2ki.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Thanks,
Tnt

Removing the bumper isn't much trouble, but you have to tug more than you'll probably be comfortable with to release the clips along the bottom of the headlights. What I'm about to say may be a little confusing, but... The highest point of the front bumper where it sweeps up between the headlights has a metal bracket. When removing and reinstalling the bumper, be very mindful of the bracket so that you don't nick the crap out of your fender.

You seem to know this through experience. From the gap of the pic, do you think it is missing any clip that allow such a gap?

No, I didn't scar my fender, but I remember wishing I had known about it and feeling lucky that it didn't whip back and ride up the fender.
I can't really tell anything from the pic.

Its hard to tell from that pic cuz it's small, but it doesn't look like an abnormal gap. Just be careful taking it on and off if you do decide to play with it, cuz you gotta be a little rough and it's uncomfortable

how perfect...I was installing my bumper plugs when one of the little brackets that was suppose to hold the license plate screws fell into the back of the bumper.

Putting it back on can also be a pain in the butt if you dont have a second set of hands.
