Default bumper plugs

Hey I took my license plate frame off today and I was going to put my bumper plugs in, but the hole in the bumper is too big... is there a piece of some sort that is supposed to be in the bumper already that the plug fits snuggly into? and if so, where would I get this part (and what is the part#)? thanks.

I've had the same problem. I tried fitting some very small paper for the fit to be "perfect", but it was extremely hard to do. So I glued it in

Yes, there is a metal bracket that's sits in behind the bumper. This part probably fell off. Now, the question would be "How did it fall off?" If it fell off because the little plactic pins broke, you will never get that metal piece back on. You would have to remove the bumper to find out. If I were you, I'd just use a little clear silicone seal and stick them things on and forget about it.

I lost the metal clip from a sidemarker on the inside inside my body panel.
I heard the thing fall to the bottom. I tried useing a magnet on a string; you guessed right, it just stuck to the body panel. Then I tried a coathander with the magnet on it. After about a half an hour I just gave up. You can bet my new S2000 will have orange sidemarkers forever.

Could always try www.bumperplugs.com.. they're expensive imo, but I ended up ordering a pair anyway for my G35.
