Building my new MY02 for more power yet reliability.
Im looking for some good mods that wont void my 3/36 warranty yet will add some nice power. Ive done a search and seem to be leaning towards a CAI and a apexi VAFC w/ harness. I know i will have to get the VAFC tuned and realize both mods will have to be taken of before trips to the dealer. I was looking into Rick's gears and all i saw the 4.57's and 4.77's. What does the car come with stock and what is the pros and cons to swapping gears. Will this void my 3/36 warranty. How much money will gear swaps end up running me (I may have a friend that can do it need to ask him) but if not how much is labor from most tech shops.

seriously, ALL your questions can be answered with the search function.
but a quick overview..
1. the Apexi V-AFC will void your warranty because you're hacking into your ECU to control fuel, vtec engagment points, and air flow,
2. the car comes with 4.10 gears. the popular choice is 4.77, make sure the person who installs your gears KNOWS exactly what they're doing, or else you'd wish you'd never heard the word gear.
3. and gears might void a myriad of components but not your ENTIRE warranty.
also, it all depends on how mod-friendly your dealer is. it makes a world of difference.
