Buddy Club Spec IV inquiry
There was one thread a while back regarding the Buddy Club Spec IV; the user was impressed by how quiet the exhaust was. I've also managed, using our pre-upgrade search function, to find one other comment on it (which was negative as to sound quality).
I am seeking an exhaust that is lightweight, does not lose power, and is not loud. I don't mean not loud as in won't shake the neighbors' houses down, I mean not loud as in it won't be noticeable in non-aggressive driving. I put about 25,000 miles a year on my car, and I am not at all into noise.
So the question: has anyone else heard this exhaust? And has anyone actually tested it to see whether it loses power? (I understand that exhausts alone rarely gain power.)
Another question, which I doubt anyone will know the answer to: if, some day, I were to add FI, would I find the Spec IV to be a bottleneck that I'd want to change?
