Don't forget that the S2000 can run on regular gasoline, it just won't do quite as well as it would on premium.

The condition of the roads in Peking didn't seem to be any worse than here in Boston, maybe a bit better. The traffic was definitely worse, though.

I wouldn't do it... I would sell the car and buy a Passat or something

The last time I visited China (Wuhan+Shanghai)... The traffic was horrible... And I didn't see ANY sports cars! Just tons of VWs!

I'd also worry about thieves! Although China isn't as appreciative of fast cars like the US is.

I spent some time in Shanghai last November. I saw one 911 and a number of BMW 5 and 7 series, so you won't be the only one looking for good gas.

Have you looked into whether you will be able to get parts? I didn't see many Hondas there. I'll bet S02's are few and far between also.

All the more reason to introduce them!

Especially gas sipping ones like the S2000.

i don't think it'll be a great idea. it'll cost you so much money and plus, then maintance.. how are you going to do it over there if anything happen? what if people jack your car or parts and leave you nothing. my friend's family does import shipping and they tell me it just ain't worth it unless you ship LOTS of stuffs..

i have been to china several times ,there is one upgrade you must have and that is a new horn .It seems that to make any move you must first hit the horn .

Don't bring it... I doubt you can enjoy it as much as you do here.

It's going to really hard to find replacement parts if something break. also, i think the read condition in China is not suited for this car unless you only drive it on big citys' main roads.
