Can someone explain the term vtecing to the newbie? Does it refer to the new "zone" the VTEC engine kicks into over 6k RPM?

Once you are able to use the entire RPM range, you will see when you hit 6000 RPM with it floored, what VTEC means. It is essentially like changing from the street cam to the racing cam. Some liken it to a turbo boost kicking in. The entire nature of the engine changes at 6000 RPM and it becomes a snarling beast, according to some drivers. The sound gets louder and you can most assuredly feel the extra power kick in. This effect is directly related to the throttle position, with the most pronounced effect at Wide Open Throttle.

Something to look forward to, certainly.

Tell them to deliver it on a truck or something, don't let them drive it over!

Shifting at about 5,000 RPM before 600 mile break-in.

I'm way past the break-in now, and will get some 9k rpm videos soon!
