Hey, I remember seeing Majestic Honda's site for the best prices on Honda OEM stuff. I had been hunting around for center consoles and thought, oh, how much is it at Majestic Honda?

If you get Illustrated parts: 16, 11 & 2x 32 that should be a whole set!

No need to get a used one with potentially sweaty elbow'd arm rests and worn plastics for the going rate of 300 ish when new ones are available for just a tad bit more.

I hate to do this to guys selling their ap2 consoles, but that piece of plastic is marked up way too high. I think it's really a convenience charge for the extra 2 cup holders... anyway. Hope that helps other people looking for getting a second cup holder in their ap1s.

There are some items Honda loves marking up. This is the sort of thing that falls into that category, the other being screws/bolts/mounting hardware.

 

I think you can re-use the old screws. But can you retro fit that onto your ap1?

Yea, I've been seeing the classifieds and the cheapest I've seen AP2 consoles go for is around 275 and up to 350 shipped. This is just one of those markups that are absurd.

I just point out the price so that used consoles can be further marked down into more reasonable territory.

Also for the other guy, yes AP2 (04+) consoles are plug and play into AP1 (00-03) cars. The only thing you will need is the emergency button, since the ap1 button is too big for the ap2 console.

 

Think you need assembly 7 as well. That is the cupholder piece and should drive the cost closer to 500...

 

I paid $250 shipped for mine, and sold it for the same price. Look for them on S2KI, trust me they come up.

 

Craigslist isn't a bad place to look either.

 

I think you left out #7 which is the cup holder and the support for the armrest which then brings up the cost to $533.68 + shipping and handling.

I paid $65 for mine (used).

if u think that's bad have one of the "S2000" keys priced. i was quoted at 180 for the S one, and only 50 for the standard black honda key !
