Brake Pads?

Brake Pads?
Hi,
I have an S2000 here in Spain and I want to improve the braking. I was thinking about Stainless Steel brake hoses and some better pads. Can anyone please tell me which pads are best for some hard road driving?
Thanks,
Isabel

OEM pads work very well on the street but do not stand up well to heavy braking on the track. Good "compromise" pads such as Cobalt Friction GT Sports will also work well on the street and hold up to track use quite well, but they do dust more than OEM pads. For hard street driving I do not recommend a full race pad like Hawk Blue or Cobalt Friction Spec VR. Though excellent for track use, they do not work well at all when cold and are not very rotor-friendly.
As mentioned by billman 250 ATE Super Blue is a fine choice for brake fluid. Do not use race-only fluids as many do not give sufficient performance after being in the car for several months (wet boiling point), even though their dry boiling point specification is high. Other good choices for upgraded performance on the street and track are Valvoline SynPower and Ford Heavy Duty.
Stainless Steel brake lines do not result in as much improvement to braking as pad and fluid changes, so they would be the last item on my list.
